ASAP Ventures and what we do?

We started out as an SEO consultancy in 1997, but got bored and sick of clients. Anyone who knows me will not be surprised that I did not have the patience or diplomacy to last.

In 2001 we began developing our own sites, whilst I was being a bum round the world with a laptop. In 2003 www.carrentals.co.uk appeared, simply as an affiliate site to Lastminute.com, developing into a white label partner of Lastminute.com. The site grew and grew to be the largest car hire partner Lastminute had, with a sales turnover of close to £10 million per year.

In 2007 www.carrentals.co.uk became a car hire comparator site and in its first year was responsible for close to £20 million in sales.

ASAP Ventures has also ran many other projects and still does, including:

1. US$100 million in sales to expedia
2. www.self-catering-breaks.com – a holiday rental site
3. www.comparecarrentals.com – a car rental site for none UK residents
4. Domain buying and selling with a large portfolio of generic domain names

We now operate 4 offices, 3 in the UK and 1 in Brisbane, Australia and have many more projects behind the scenes and if we choose to make them public they will appear here.
