Google does not want to do comparison engines

Wednesday, June 4th, 2008

The implications of Google to do comparators are are huge, but are they detrimental to Google.

Their original business model was a platform based on ad revenue, now they have to deliver results and they will be tracked as a cpa channel.

The issues are simply that many of the smaller interesting companies with good product offerings do not have the tech abilities to manage their feeds. If google deceide to get into this industry they may find they have a huge amount of tech staff monitoring each of their partners, especially if these partners have products that are changing in real time…we know:) as many of our travel partners are constantly have feed problems.

Lead generation business is not so much an issue as Google are not dependent up data feeds from 3rd party suppliers.
