How to get to the front page of DIGG - Part 3
Apple is a great brand that will earn you a place on the front page of digg but so is Firefox. Sure it saved a lot of folks from the insecure Internet Explorer (mind you is the latest version a bit dodgy?) but it can also save you the frustration of unsuccessful attempts at trying to get to the front page of digg. So write a fireside:
story, oops I mean a Firefox story and you will finally earn your reward. But you don’t have to use the Firefox browser to check whether you have finally landed.
Other hot ‘brands’ that can get you on the front page of digg include George Bush, Fox News and Wal-Mart.
Then there is Microsoft bashing. Just because the company makes products that crash, that are too risky in this hacker prone world is not enough reason to go bashing them! No they did not send me an X-box gaming console. The point is people seem to delight in casting Microsoft in bad light and it is people who will put you on the front page of digg. And in the bad books of Microsoft.
