Shame the Oil Price has dropped

When the prices go up everyone worries about how they will fill up their big white car with petrol.
People whinge and whine
Governments try to work out how they will get the prices down or find alternatives.
Then some wonderful people realise what is going on and make sure the price of oil drops again
Everybody stops being concerned….

Peak Oil. Be afraid, be very afraid.
Basically, we’re phuqued. Every aspect of our civilization depends upon cheap oil. It’s too late to develop and deploy alternatives in the quantities needed.
We use vast quantities of oil in intensive agriculture: to make fertilizer and pesticides; to operate farm machinery; to transport food. Estimates are that when Peak Oil hits about 95% of the world will starve to death.
We use vast quantities of oil to mine and refine raw materials. Without it we go back to the stone age, with no hope of return. We need those raw materials and that oil to get out of a stone age because we’ve used up all the resources that are available using men, pickaxes, shovels and donkeys.
