Lee Griffin Of Tradedoubler is not that pretty
I just spent the day with Lee Griffin of Tradedoubler , so I thought I would have a little play and see if I can tell the world that after all his efforts to be classed as the pretty boy of affiliate marketing it did not work and he was beaten by Jason Baker by CJ in my poll.
Obviously this is only my poll:)

Tradedoubler leave London office and take our cookies
Wow, I start writing about people and everyone comes to see me including Tradedoubler:

They all want to have their pictures on my websites. Elena and Lee kindly came to see us. Don’t actually think we decided anything, but one of my staff who is Polish was worried.
Had an interesting talk about who should the sale be attributed to in the affiliate business. This is what generally happens:
A visitor goes to a content rich site like HolidayWatchDog and browes round and clicks out to expedia.
Next day the user does a search for expedia and clicks on the ppc advert from one of the lovely brandbidding groups approved by buy.at:

Currently the brand bidding group gets the sale, is that correct?

Has Malcolm Cowley left the building
I was trying to find out what had happened to Malcolm Cowley, the loud mouthed lovely Geordie, who massively helped build buy.at. He comes from a couple of miles from me and even knows some people I know in Whitley Bay:

I know he headed off to New York not long after Kevin Cornils appeared at buy.at . Now was that because Malcolm loved New York or Kevin told him to shut up as they had some stupid American who was looking for a bride and having a drunken geordie was not a help when trying to get a bit of legal hanky panky. The American in question had just been left at the alter by Tradedoubler but had bought the dress and wanted to use it. So the guys at buy.at:

even though not the best looking were all quite funny and good for going out with. And we all know women do like funny men, never seemed to work for me:( but thats another story.
So the bride got use of her dress, the funny guys went to live on a sunny island and poor Malcolm was left in the wilderness, close to the brides parents.
