Where have all the old cars gone

Have you noticed there are no old cars on the road any more?
- 2 million cars last year were taken off the road
- Only 900,000 Certificates/Notices of Destruction were issued by the government
The other cars were illegally dumped or destroyed.

Its a shame, I love old cars especially the VWs
I’ll always have an old VW, cant beat a MK2 Golf.
All those cars are sold in lots to Mexico. Some legally, some not so much… but I guarantee that most of them are down here. =)
2 Million sounds an enormous number! Aren’t there supposed to be 26 Million vehicles on the road?
My favourite bit of the police TV shows is when they impound cars for lack of tax and insurance!
