I doubt reason 1 would be an issue POR is far smaller and we do that a lot ,mind you we manage debt really well these days. No I think it’s more a case of Zanox being pants in the UK and AW not. Good luck to them if this is true, just hope it stays the AW way if they do.
Not heard zip, but there’s always been rumours surrounding Affiliate Window buy-outs over the past few years. Personally I think a few of us should get together and invest :)
[...] Lately I have been hearing about a lot of affiliates being burned by delayed or unpaid affiliate commissions not covering their adwords spend, and now I just heard a story from a friend that a well known affiliate management company has lost money due to paying affiliates but not being paid b…. Thanks for your concern folks, but we’re not in need of a bail-out. At the risk of blowing our own trumpet, we’re one of the most successful networks in the UK and have been recognised as such by The Sunday Times Tech Track 100 for four years running. : )
[...] This is just a rumour and hasn’t been confirmed yet. But according to Doug Scott’s Affiliate Marketing blog Affiliate Window has been loosing money paying out to Affiliates but not getting paid themselves. [...]
They could save a fortune by not paying that certain affiliate website that keeps abusing the rules.
Here you go . . .
“European media companies Axel Springer and PubliGroupe purchased a 50.1 % stake in Digital Window Ltd. Together, the two companies already own Zanox, one of Europe’s leading affiliate networks and this new acquisition further strengthens their position in the UK”
“Moving forward this partnership will see us expand our business outside of the UK and provide exciting and rewarding opportunities for our partners. Kevin Brown, CEO, will continue to manage the company adding “Axel Springer and PubliGroupe have acknowledged Digital Window’s methodology and core values as a significant part of our growth in the UK. The ability to mirror this throughout Europe and beyond makes this a perfect partnership increasing the opportunities for affiliates in every way”.
